The Plot

Louise is instantly charmed, and after a smooth reference check, she welcomes Dr. Malone into her home.
The initial days unfold like a dream. Dr. Malone keeps to himself, pays rent on time, and even occasionally leaves Louise thoughtful gifts, solidifying the impression of a model tenant.
However, Louise soon begins to notice subtle inconsistencies. Strange late-night noises filter from Dr. Malone’s room, and his work schedule seems shrouded in secrecy.
One unsettling evening, Louise discovers Dr. Malone using her computer in the dead of night. He claims to have been working on music, but the suspicious files on the screen hint at something more sinister.
A growing unease settles over Louise. She confides in her best friend, Sarah, who voices concerns about Dr. Malone’s enigmatic behavior.
Determined to uncover the truth, Louise embarks on a discreet investigation.
She delves into Dr. Malone’s past, only to discover a web of half-truths and inconsistencies.
His supposed career as a music producer appears to be a fabrication. Panic sets in as Louise realizes she may have opened her door to a dangerous stranger.
As Dr. Malone’s behavior escalates, Louise finds herself living in a constant state of fear.
He becomes increasingly possessive, subtly manipulating her and isolating her from her friends. The once-charming facade crumbles, revealing a controlling and potentially violent individual.
