Damaged Movie Plot

Lawson, battling his own demons and the lingering frustration of his past failure, arrives in Scotland as a grizzled veteran.
Partnered with the meticulous and resourceful DCI Boyd, they delve into the investigation.
The similarities to the Chicago case are undeniable, but subtle differences leave room for doubt.
Could this be a copycat killer replicating the original atrocities, or has the original perpetrator resurfaced on foreign soil?
As the body count rises, the pressure mounts on Lawson and Boyd.
The investigation takes a personal turn when Lawson reaches out to his estranged former partner, Walker Bravo (Vincent Cassel), who is now a London-based security consultant and novelist.
Bravo possesses a unique understanding of Lawson’s psyche and the Chicago case. Although initially reluctant, Bravo is eventually drawn back into the dark world of serial killers.
The three detectives, each with their own baggage and demons, form an unlikely alliance.
Lawson’s street smarts and dogged determination clash with Boyd’s procedural approach, while Bravo brings a fresh perspective honed by his outsider status.
As they delve deeper into the killer’s twisted logic, the detectives navigate a labyrinth of religious symbolism and cryptic clues.
