Welcome to Filmovity.

This post will provide you with the English subtitles (SRT files) of Bodies (2023) Season 1 British TV Mini series, which can be downloaded easily from our site right now.

The provided subtitles are compatible with all major video formats, like 4K, HD, 1080p, 720p, Rip, Blue-Ray, MP4, MKV, Avi, and other formats.

Filmovity is a site created with one or two purposes: one, to provide subtitles, and two, to dive into movie reviews. But we are not yet into the latter.

The Plot

The cobbled streets of London’s Whitechapel hold a chilling secret. Across four distinct eras, a single body surfaces in the same location, Longharvest Lane, sparking investigations by four dedicated detectives.

Each case becomes a piece of a larger puzzle, one that transcends time and forces them to confront a conspiracy with potentially world-altering consequences.

In 1890, Detective Inspector Alfred Hillinghead, a man of unwavering principles, stumbles upon the body in a time of societal upheaval.

His investigation is aided by Henry Ashe, a resourceful gay journalist, but hindered by powerful figures who warn him to back down.

Undeterred, Hillinghead delves deeper, unearthing connections that point to a dark undercurrent.

Also in 1941, the Blitz ravaged London, casting a long shadow over Detective Sergeant Charles Whiteman.

Thrusting into the investigation of the body, he finds himself caught between duty and a mysterious benefactor who demands he obstruct the case.

With suspicion lingering around a bombing incident and his own superior officer dead, Whiteman must navigate a treacherous landscape to uncover the truth.

And in 2023, in a city grappling with social unrest, Detective Sergeant Shahara Hasan encounters the body in the aftermath of a protest.

Her investigation takes her down a path fraught with personal demons, leading her to a desperate suspect who makes a tragic decision.

As she digs deeper, Hasan realizes she’s not alone, and the case’s roots stretch far beyond her initial assumptions.

In 2053, London has transformed into a desolate wasteland, a stark contrast to its once bustling heart.

Detective Constable Iris Maplewood, operating in a world ravaged by climate change, is drawn to Longharvest Lane by an unusual electromagnetic anomaly.

To her astonishment, she discovers the seemingly impossible: the body is not only there but, remarkably, still alive.

As the detectives across time piece together the fragments of their investigations, a single figure emerges: Elias Mannix, a charismatic politician with a shadowy past and a potential connection to every case.

The detectives must overcome their individual challenges, forge unlikely alliances, and defy the forces conspiring against them to unravel the truth behind the reappearing body and Mannix’s role in the grand scheme.

Their pursuit of justice leads them down a rabbit hole of conspiracies, questioning the very fabric of reality and confronting the possibility that someone—or something—is manipulating the course of history.

The miniseries concludes with a revelation that leaves viewers questioning everything they thought they knew, hinting at a future where the past’s secrets hold the key to the world’s fate.

How To Use This Subtitle

This following guide will teach you how to add or configure this subtitle file in your video.

Here we go:

How to Add Subtitle to MX Player

Step 1: Search and download your film or TV series subtitles from our website or elsewhere, and check if they are in a zip or normal SRT file. If it is in zip format, then you might need to extract it before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2: Move your subtitle file to the folder of your video, and if possible, rename the subtitle file to match the name of your video; that way, it will be automatically added to your video as soon as you start playing it on your video player.

Step 3: Or open your MX Player > Folders > and tap on your video.

Step 4: Tap on the subtitle button located at the top-right side, then the “Open” option, navigate to your subtitle folder, and tap on it to load it.

After you have successfully added your subtitle file to the video, if you notice a syncronization problem, you can use the same subtitle icon to access the syncronization settings of your subtitle and make some adjustments.

As we said earlier, adding a subtitle to your video shouldn’t be a problem. Cheers to you!

How to Add Subtitle to VLC Player

We will simplify things here and manage to wrap things up in no more than three steps.

For Android users:

Step 1: Download your subtitle from our website or elsewhere and extract it if it is in zip format. Then launch your VLC player, locate your video, and start playing it.

Step 2: Tap on the screen to reveal playback controls. Then find a subtitle icon (🗨) and tap on it.

Step 3: Then tap on “Add Subtitle File,” locate it, and tap on it to load it. If you have multiple subtitle tracks and they’re all imported, then you might need to select the appropriate subtitle track by tapping on “Subtitle Track” and choosing your desired language or version.

Tips 💡: If you don’t have a subtitle file, you can use the automatic search feature to look for your video’s subtitle or even use the AI translation feature. However, by adding your subtitle file to the same folder as your video and renaming it to match the video’s name, you won’t have to manually import your subtitle file.

For iOS users:

Step 1: Download your subtitle (SRT) file from our website or elsewhere, and extract it if it is in zip format. Then rename it to match the name of your video and add it to the same directory (folder) as your video.

Step 2: If you have done what you were asked to do in Step 1, then your VLC player should automatically detect and load the associated subtitle file into your video.

Step 3: If it doesn’t work, then tap on the screen, select the “Subtitles” tab, tap on “Add Subtitle File,” locate your subtitle file, and tap on it to load it.

Tips 💡: If you noticed a sync issue related to your subtitle, you can adjust the sync in the subtitle settings of your player. And what you should do is look for either the “Subtitle Delay” or “Subtitle Syncronization” options and adjust the sync using them. However, if you have multiple subtitle files added to your video, you can switch between them in the “Subtitles” menu using the “Subtitle Track” option.

For PC users:

Step 1: Download your subtitle from our website or elsewhere and check if it is in zip format or a normal SRT file. If it is in zip format, then you might need to extract it.

Step 2: Open your video player and add your video, or open your video on the VLC player and play it.

Step 3: In the navigation menu, arranged horizontally, click on “Subtitle,” then “Add Subtitle File,” and navigate to your subtitle location and click on it to load it.

Tips💡: At times, you don’t need to stress yourself that much; you only need to rename your subtitle file to match your video file and add it in the same folder as your video. It will be automatically added as soon as you play your video.

We would like to wrap things up for now. And please do not forget to share this post if you found it worth your time.
